People extend their self through fashion, they compose their personality by likes and preferences. Based on the Aurora borealis—highly energised solar winds ionising air molecules—subdermal auroral projectors might be a tool to express more facets of us in an abstract way: A dynamic augmented self.

The future is near and it might not look like everyone expect it to be.

In a wild, noisy, spammed world with cameras and facial recogintion we might be surrounded by awild ecosystem of automata, robots, and all kinds of virtual parasites. The right to stay anonymous and disconnected will be extremely important, the new parameters will change our sight on everything. What today may seem the sign of oppression might tomorrow be a sign of freedom….

The Londoner exhibition Space FutureTense in Shoreditch drags people in with a giant iris looking outside. The disarming work of british artist Chuck Elliot opens a ‘survey of dynamic use of color in contemporary art’, which can be taken literally.
The veils of color in Elliots poetic prints on a slightly shiny metallic paper are just the perlude to even more vibrant tones like in Lee Bakers’s Refractive Monolith for which he used 15.000 meters of yarn.

Vauxhall is a special area in London. Many gays might know it for nightlife pleasure. The whole area has a tradition of that, starting with the Vauxhall Pleasure Gardens in previous centuries. Today the Royal Vauxhall Tavern provides pleasure and performance but also for around 150 years! Performance is a gift of pleasure in both ways – for the people you watch it and for the performer himself or as one put it “You are my therapy”. Today people come here to see “purveyors of progressive working class entertainment” – and hopefully will continue to get entertained for the next 150 years.

The portraits are from two shots for a project at the Royal College of Art, one outside on the streets in between after hour clubs, sex clubs and the Royal Vauxhall Tavern. The other was done in the Tavern during it’s successful Saturday’s show “Duckie’s”

Tom Wlaschiha stars side by side with Andrea Riseborough and Michael Sheen in Resistance, a drama set in an alternate Britain in which D-Day has failed and the country is under Nazi occupation.
We were at the London premiere this weekend to celebrate this great movie. This Monday the premiere in Wales followed with the participation of his Royal Highness Prince Charles of Wales.

You have done Rio, Sao Paolo and Buenos Aires and didn’t event think about Bogotá? And if you did you thought it was dangerous? A lot has changed in Columbia’s capitol. The city officially claims that “the only danger is that you want to stay” – and they may be right! Bogotá is a surprise for almost everyone – the city, the restaurants, the café culture and the gay scene.
Chapinero or tenderly called “chapigay”  is the center of Bogotá’s gay community. There are more than 100 bars, discos and clubs for the gay community in Bogotá, and most of them can be found in Chapinero,with the huge “Theatron” in the centre, on of the biggest and most popular gay discos in South America. That’s also where the grand finale of the biggest party weekend takes place – on Halloween.

Bogotá is full of surprises – not only that Columbia is one of the leading countries in LGBT rights and that the mayor of Chapinero, Blanca Inés Durán Hernández, is openly lesbian. There are a lot more social achievements – the TransMilenio, one of the most efficient public transport systems was created in just a few years, one of Bogota´s main roads turn into the “ciclovia” every sunday and is completey closed to make room for almost a million bikers and pedestrians, or the Virgilio Barco Public Library, that grants also the poorest in the city accces to bookss, computers and modern media. The library is named after the former president of Bogotá whose son Virgilio has been aleading LGBT rights acitivist and co founder of Columbia diversa.

Bogotá is full of great stories that have not been told yet. All you have to do is come and see. And maybe stay.

There is a lot of big words around, when “Multitalented photographer Armin Morbach” decides to start a new magazine. A magazine can speak for itself – and listen what it says:

“The magazine addresses a highly financially significant target group.The project will be focused on the lifestyle of modern gay men who don’t define themselves on the basis of their sexual orientation. It’s about being a man, being at ease with your body, with your desires, with your needs, with your habits, with your sexuality. The visuals will be breathtaking high-end images incorporating expressive, mind-blowing and sometimes even shocking subjects.”

Horst tries hard to imitate marketing genius Steve Jobs (R.I.P.) by limiting the first issue and claiming to send it “exclusively to the world’s most important decision makers, creating a medium for presenting products to people you’ve never been able to reach before”. Hmm, we are still waiting for ours.

But for now anyone can reach there willing to spend 33,99 Euros for a magazine.
Well – it’s gay. It’s out. Let’s see.

Anonyous artist HuskMitNavn and the designer Troels Øder Hansen, designed a queer salt and pepper set called Gordon & Andreas. Its a game on the word „bøsse“ which means both homosexual or box/salt shaker. The two gay friends are available with or without a leather vest at Normann Copenhagen.

John Palatinus, the last living pioneer of the legendary beefcake era, arrives in Berlin with a spectacular exhibition. After loosing all his works in 1959 through a raid by postal inspectors and NYPD, John worked for more than forty years in fashion and interior design photography.

From 1954 to 1959, Palatinus worked in his studios in Northern Indiana and New York City, photographing young male bodybuilders. His photographs were published in numerous bodybuilding magazines of the era, most notably Tomorrow’s Man, a pocket-sized publication featuring males with posing straps or other coveringsfor their privates. At that time in America, it was illegal to send even seminude photographs through the U.S. Mail.

In early 1959 his now classic photographs were driven from the market by zealous US Postal Inspectors aided by the New York Police Department in highly-publicized raids. All of John’s his cameras, equipment, photographs, negatives, and mailing lists were confiscated and never returned.

Now, after more than half a century, his almost forgotten work has been re-discovered, thanks to the work of archivist and curator of vintage physique photography Alan Harmon.

If you want to meet the people who came up with these words, you can stay in the Miramonte, a Hotel between a James Bond movie and a “Heimatfilm”, or Haus Hirt, where Thomas Mann is said to be inspired for his ”Felix Krull” or Das Regina, the urban rocker in a rural jungle.

Well, we have all seen dramatic mountain peaks before. But the combination with Bad Gastein, this mad architectural Fata Morgana: that is unique. Hard to grasp. Especially not in words. And even if you were to succeed, then three are enough: What a view.

The newly establish art festival sommer.frische.kunst tries to connect to Bad Gastein’s past as a glamourous summer destination. The “kunstresidenz” provides seven international artists an opportunity to create new work while living at the “Kunstresidenz”, the “kunstfestival shining” presents contemporary art, and the music festival summer jazz in the city brings the sounds of jazz to Bad Gastein.

Artist Phillip Fürhofer, known for his light boxes and set design was inspired to create two exceptional pieces that deal with kitsch and kik.

It’s not only famous artists such as Sven Marquardt, Marc Brandenburg or Piotr Nathan that  tribute to Berghain’s tradition of being a new definition of contempory culture.

From August 18th to 26th more than 40 artists Berghain and OstGut staff members will present their works on the ground floor of KUBUS, the yet unexploited part of Heizkraftwerk Friedrichshain and will be presenting paintings, photography, installation art, sound and music within the conceptual open designed group exhibition.

The exhibition is open to the public from August 19th to 26th between 4 and 10pm. The vernissage on August 18th will be followed by an opening party at Panorama Bar from 10pm.

For the Vernissage-Party on 18.08.2011, 10pm amongst others Rummelsnuff will be rocking the Panorama Bar, the closing party is a week later on  26.08.2011, 10pm in the Berghain Kantine.

When three million people gather in Brazil, you’ll sure have a party. It wasn’t carnival that was hosted in the 20 million city São Paulo, but the biggest gay pride on this planet. As a call for equal rights, this giant voice reached out to change the world’s biggest catholic country. Having already an equal rights civil partnership, a brazilian court voted this week to open marriage for same sex couples.
Together with Argentinia, the two South American countries show how much there is still to fight for in Germany.

Schwarzrosagold reported for Gay guide Spartacus and MÄNNER magazine from the middle of that amazing crowd with people from all social classes, between all the hotties, the trannies, the dykes and the thousands of supporters, which was awe-inspiring. The impressive concrete jungle of São Paulo was the perfect background for this massive statement of pride and revealed later that nights its magic again in the clubs and bars with the deliciousness of the Paulistas.

He was the fifth teenager in the US in the last three weeks who committed suicide because they were bullied of being gay. And those five only stand for a horrific high number of lives that end each day, just beause of hate, the lack of tolerance and respect.
But as many of us experience: Live will get better! Accepting yourself, living the life you want and with the one you love. Being gay is just great!!

The NOH8 Campaign is a photographic silent protest created by celebrity photographer Adam Bouska and partner Jeff Parshley in direct response to the passage of Proposition 8. Photos feature subjects with duct tape over their mouths, symbolizing their voices being silenced by Prop 8 and similar legislation around the world, with “NOH8″ painted on one cheek in protest. Amongst the many goodlooking and famous faces that joined this campaign are Cindy McCain, Cathy Griffin, Steve-Oh and super model Donna Feldman.

More than their face by now more than 12,000 people gave their voice to the the NOH8 campaign – reason enough to thank them and Adam to start this extraordinary successful project. Now its time for you to support by buying the pictures! Funds raised by the NOH8 Campaign are used to promote and raise awareness for Marriage Equality and anti-discrimination on a global level.

When the US declare war on terror it’s a total war – on bad guys as well as on bad fashion.
So the image pubished by the pentagon after Osama bin Laden was killed conveyed a subtle reference to
Princess Beatrice of York, daughter of Prince Andrew and the much-maligned Sarah Ferguson, at the royal wedding with an enormous taupe O tacked to her forehead. The message is clear: no one is gonna escape us.

Summer is close so we are working on our summer collection. The 3/4 Berlin leather pants were created in cooperation with Rub Addiction to be prepared for whatever comes. Sports shorts and fresh shirt and tank top colors will follow.

The warm air from the second floor loft space is the first thing slamming into you. The high ceilings, stripped down studio, and plethora of eye candy definitely make an impression, but the art draws you in, intrigues you, and makes you wonder who the fuck can come up with this?

The Skeletor Saves exhibit benefiting the Ali Forney Center turned out to be an exceptional event featuring artwork from around the globe all inspired by the popular 1980s homoerotic children’s cartoon He-Man. No one can deny He-Man exuded an air of metrosexuality and male yearning and he was completely blown out of the closet almost 30 years later thanks to some gifted and inspiring artists.

Schwarzrosagold’s “Transformation” was a show stopper that caught the attention of many of the hot and bothered men in the room. One commented, “this is the reason I want it,” while fondling the photograph’s fragmented nipple behind glass. If that’s all it takes, he’s in the right place. Schwarzrosagold delivered and I was proud to be there in support.

Even aspiring drag royalty sauntered about the room towering over the men who checked out her puckered ass neatly perked in a brown skirt and sky high boots. “RuPaul’s Drag Race” star and Tyra Banks’ drag doppelganger Raja owned the room and charmed the men in her path, but nothing could distract from the amazing work on display or the cause. Try as she might, Raja was more incidental scenery than purposeful art.

Next Magazine was a presence by the entrance, but they mistakenly credited “Transformation” to an artist named Rosa Gold which sounds like it could possibly the personification of an old Jewish grandmother, but this piece can only be attributed to someone decidedly German. Its austere highlights and fractures epitomize the psyche of a man broken in perpetual conflict. I don’t know if Rosa Gold could imagine that.

Penis cybenétique is a project of a 23 year old female curious to find out “What does it feel like to have an extra body part (in this case – penis) which reacts to my emotions?”

Everybody who knows what it feels like to have a penis that constantly reacts to nothing else but emotions can certainly understand the curiosity and we loved the radical idea and design of it: a working motorized penis which moves up and down based on the heart rate.

The talented mixed Japanese/British calls herself Sputniko and designed this amazing piece at the famous Royal College of Arts in London and links at her blog show creative  inventions like menstruation machines, child producing machines, penis songs or open source boyfriends.

All resulting code and designs are made public and open and reveal what we always hoped it would be: a machine gun.

Is the media image of “the Arab” a reflection of reality or do news photo-editors chose today’s images because they resemble our projected images?

Stefka Amon, known for her “My World Trade Centre” art project,  is a visual artist who loves to indulge in images of cultural projections: be it pop icons like Claudia Schiffer, Lady Diana or fictitious characters like Winnetou, chief of the Mescalero Apaches by Karl May. Her Orientalist series deals with projections on the concept of the “Oriental World”, taken from reproductions of German, Austrian, British, French and Italian Orientalist painters focussing on the turn of the 19th to the 20th century. The grid and the enlargement of the excerpt makes it impossible to tell whether these images are contemporary photos from the “Arab World” or historic products from the “Orientalists”.

When we met Stefka she explainded why she decided to focus on male portraits: “there is at least one interesting shift in the perception of the “Arab” – from a desirable, seductive promise of forbidden pleasures for male Europeans to a dangerous, unpredictable, threatening and aggressive warrior focussing on bringing terror to the western world.” – Call us old fashioned, but the first image is still stronger in our head!

Schwarzrosagold goes New York! On April 7, 2011 Skeletor Saves, a collective charity show, will open for one day to raise money for the Ali Forney Center in New York City, a shelter for homeless gay, bi and transgendered youth. With work from top artists based on He-Man and the Masters of the Universe this artshow will be special and unseen. Schwarzrosagold will contribute one of our latest collages from the series “Fractal Identities”. He-Man was quite fragmented and even queer. His everyday shy and feminine side Prince(ss) Adam turned into that big butch guy, wearing a harness and some fur-speedos. How everyday gay is that?

We met Le Van Bo again on a sunny day in Berlin and had an inspiring discussion about chaos and Confucius, karma and capitalism in the microcosm between Laos and Kreuzkölln, and about the value of design for anyone on welfare. A year ago we blogged about his fresh  furniture project  called „Hartz IV Möbel“ (referring to the much discussed German welfare system). In the meantime it became a huge success, with newspaper debates, TV interviews, theaters staging his furniture and people sending in their rebuilt chairs. The furniture is not for sale. If you want it, you have to build it. Construction plans are free. 10 Euros. 10 Minutes. 10 Screws. That’s all you need to get this multifunctional furniture. And if you combine a dozen of them you can create a sidetable, a TV-rack or a bench.

Commercial for a non-commercial design project

Wie abstrakt, langweilig und bildlos waren die Dystopien der letzten Jahre. Hässliche und schlecht gemachte Computeranimationen haben uns nicht erschreckt. Viren, Trojaner oder die Endzeit der Privatssphäre haben uns nicht in Panik versetzt und keine bildgewaltigen Schreckensvisionen kreiert, so wie damals die atomare Bedrohung der 50er Jahre: Google taugt einfach nicht als Godzilla – und Facebook noch weniger.
Aber jetzt: Fukishima!
Man kann den Schrecken wieder sehen, der Horror wird fast wieder haptisch. Endlich gibt es wieder Bilder entfesselter physischer Gewalt, verbogenen Stahls, rauchender Explosionen und zerborstener Technik.
Es wird nicht lange dauern, bis die klassisch technische Dystopie des letzten Jahrhunderts mit bildgewaltigen Reflektionen zurückkommt: Der graue Fall-Out-Schnee über sich an Feuern wärmenden Menschen einer untergehenden Hochtechnologie als Einstieg zu neuen nuklearen Godzillas, die unsere Städte zermalmen, zu Endzeitkämpfen zwischen Robotern, Mutanten und Cyborgs

Kibouniikiru means “to live in hope” and thats what the whole world feels for Japan right now. Shaken by one of the strongest earthquakes the planet ever experienced, hit by a monster tsunami and harmed by a nuclear catastrophe Japan needs every support we can give. And we have to accept that some things are unpredictable, and that nuclear technology is a system way too complex to ever being able to control in an unpredictable situation. Nuclear technology is the spirit we called and now can’t get rid of. Once out it’s uncontrollable. This won’t help Japan now, but it’s time to stop nuclear power plants and nuclear weapons. Now!
Our thoughts are with Japan – don’t give up hope!

The new Spartacus International Gay Guide Cover Model Eliad came all the way from Tel Aviv to Berlin to the international Tourism Fair ITB. He draws a lot of attention, especially when he wears his Schwarzrosagold Berlin-Shirt in Hebrew. Let’s hope he will do so as well on his whole trip through Berlin!

‘A poem a day keeps the doctor away,’ Greg Overzat must have thought when he decided to write 365 poems in 365 days. It seems to be working, as Greg seemed perfectly healthy when we met him on a sunny day in New York.
Asked about why he decided to publish those intimate insights into his life, he told us “when I turned 24 I made a promise to myself. I vowed that by the time I turn 25 I will be a different person. So I challenged myself to write 365 poems in 365 days. One per day. The rules were simple: just write. And make sure it was done before midnight. This book is a testament to a year in my life. Unedited, raw, real.”

And that’s what they are. “Not every work is a masterpiece” he frankly admits, but “that’s exactly what I want to convey. It was a roller coaster of feelings and thoughts and emotions and some of the poems were unfortunately just procedural. That was my intended goal, not to be perfect stylistically, just to make people connect. my writing tends to be far more serious and vulnerable than I am, which I think surprises most people. The intensity of the project definitely took me out of my comfort zone and into a cathartic process. And I was coming off of heartbreak, so i had a lot to say about that arschloch!”

Inspired by his own jet setting lifestyle and moody glam aesthetic, a famous fashion photographer is the new hype on the iPhone. Chiun-kai Shih, better known as Chunky, is a creative director for Condé-Nast’s Vogue and GQ, a fashion world star, and now Chunky is a new Hipstamatic lens rendering glossy luminous and almost cinematic images.

The lens is as unusual as Chunky – being probably the only fashion photographer in the world who shot the Fashion week on an iPhone – with his own lens. Between the big guys with the big cameras Chunky with his iPhone once again was way ahead. Even for GQ Taiwan he shot a spread entirely with his iPhone!

We met Chunky this week in a beautiful sunny New York not only to spend a fantastic day together but to get from him some exclusives, so hot, they haven’t been published anywhere else. He did these images all for Buckler’s 10th Anniversary special, and it was shown at their SoHo Store during Fashion Week—and has never been seen online—so far. Shot at famous interior designer Yabu Pushelberg’s house in NY, the fabulous interior underlines the individuality Chunky Lens adds to every single guy.

He was so crazy about his lens, that he couldn’t stop shooting. He kept doing pics during our lunch and even after he went home he sent us a Chunky-selfportrait wearing his Schwarzrosagold-Berlin-Shirt.

You should always be aware of what happens when 5.400 gays (and some lesbian mechanics) are stuck together. Not only that magically all shirts seem to disappear, some pants might and even some guys. And what if you add dance music? A lot of eyes widen with happiness and sleep disappears, too.

Day 1: No dogs at the dock
Everything was bigger this cruise. A bigger ship, a bigger crowd, a lot of really big guys. Bigger doesn’t automatically mean better, but it certainly means more. There was a lot of everything – a lot of very hot guys, a lot of fucking, a lot of parties, and – because there were no dogs at the dock while police focused on Evian bottles – a lot of drugs.

Day 2: Dog tags and alpha males:

You need to understand marine code during such a trip over seas, 5 a.m. through all stateroom speakers: „Alpha – Alpha – Alpha, Solarium, Deck 15, Starboard Side“.

Rumors spread around the boat as fast as among a bunch of teenage girls. Why did the cruise – oversold before that announcement – suddenly have an upgrade available. OD? Or did the twisted fisting murderer hit again? What happend to the five guys who thought the party was over when they were arrested at the first stop on the (homophobic) Bahamas. But the big guys from the Bahamian police promised to keep the party going for them that night!

Day 3 at sea
You meet some really interesting people on this cruise… honeybee sluts and storm troopers, college studs and best agers (whose best age was ages ago…) a white black and black He-man.

Day 4: More Alpha?

It’s an expensive cruise so people have to come up with ways to co finance it – some share the cabin with an unknown, some make it a business trip and some sell drugs. Steven Barry K. made some $ 51,000 before he was arrested on the Virgin Islands, but by that time he had only 140 pills left…

What was officially announced as an delay because of custom and border control issues, turned out to be a police raid through several cabins, just by chance while Atlantis happily served complimentary cocktails at the pool.

day 5: France and the Netherlands in one day

The captain’s announcement the day before that clothing on the balcony was prohibited set the theme for St. Thomas. A gay cruise taking over a nude beach is like a model contest between vanishing old bodies.

Wie man’s macht, macht man’s falsch, findet unsere Kolumnistin und erwartet für diesen Nichtgedanken das übliche viele Geld. Mein Bett stinkt. Ewig nicht gemacht, zuletzt, als Rüdiger an Heiligabend diesen Blasenkrebs hatte. Meine Güte. Der Weihnachtsbaum ist lange tot, so abgebrannt wie alle. Auch Rüdiger ist tot. Totgeschlagen. Mit 20 Franken in die Kronenhalle, was hat er auch erwartet? Alle Menschen müssen sterben, auch im neuen Jahr. Weihnachten ist passé. Da nützen alle Vorsätze nix. Auch der Januar ist schon wieder tot, so tot wie meine Vorsätze. Vorsätze, die Hoffnung der Kapitalisten. Jedes Jahr nehme ich mir vor, mal intensivst über mich nachzudenken. Aber über diesen einen Satz komme ich schon gar nicht hinaus. So gut wie alles an ihm ist falsch, beim nachdenken fängt das schon an. Auch intensivst geht im Grunde gar nicht, weil uns ennuyisierte Urbanistikerinnen das völlig aus unserem Kreativ-Konzept brächte. Und das heißt: Tippeltipptipp. Alles muß raus, schnell. Das ist modern. Kinder, Krebs, Karibik. Die Welt ist schlecht und seltsam drauf. Zusammenhänge sind was für Leute, die, egal. Wir leben nun mal nicht in einer Hollywood-Komödie mit Charlton Heston, und der Potsdamer Platz ist nicht der Meat Packing District. Was das heißt? Wer’s nicht weiß, muß fühlen. Irgendwie ist eh alles austauschbar. Auch Rüdiger. Er ist nicht tot, er ist nur vorausgegangen. Sagt man nicht so? Aber wer ist man? Dumm gelaufen. Laufen wollte man im neuen Jahr, eine Fremdsprache lernen (Deutsch), mal besser aussehen und nicht immer so gräßlich geistlos herumhühnern. Mal was Sinnvolles tun, einen Kuchen backen, still im Kühlschrank sitzen. Laubrechen. Aber wo kriegt man jetzt Laub her. Rüdiger sagt (er ist doch nicht tot, nur blaß), Armut ist ein Glanz aus Innen. Jetzt weiß ich, warum meine Stirn immer so glänzt. So geht es hin. Noch ein Wort, noch ein Komma, wieder ein Satz fertig. Fabelhaft. Vielleicht ist der Kapitalismus ja doch nicht so schlecht. Für die Unqualifizierten sorgt er doch ganz prima. Neuer Vorsatz: Alles so lassen. Wer macht mit?

Da wachen sie auf, kriechen aus ungemachten Betten. Wie die riechen nach zwei Wochen! Lüften, ja, man könnte lüften. Fenster auf. Meine Güte. Wie sieht das hier aus! Der Weihnachtsbaum ist abgebrannt. Hat das denn keiner gemerkt? Rüdiger hast du nicht gemerkt, dass der Baum brennt. Rüdiger? Rüdiger liegt im Bett. Er ist tot. Vielleicht schläft er auch noch, eine Gänsekeule ragt aus seinem Mund. Oder aus dem Bauch. Kinder. Was machen die Kinder? Gott sei dank, wir haben keine Kinder, sonst wäre das ganz, ganz dumm gelaufen.Die Brückentage, Weihnachten, Silvester – jedes Jahr das selbe Elend. Nach zwei Tagen beginnt der Mensch das Verrotten. Er hat genug Filme gesehen, die in New York, irgendwo um den Gramercy Park spielen, mit gut aussehenden Menschen, die in verrückten Buchverlagen arbeiten. Rüdiger, so sag doch was. Morgen geht die Arbeit wieder los. Nicht in einem kleinen Buchladen in New York, sondern in einer Rückversicherungsgesellschaft in Spandau. Großraumbüro. All die alten Nasen werden wieder da sein, mit ihren Keksen und ihren Fotos, der Baum, sie wissen schon, und das ist meine Nichte. Das neue Jahr. Es wird genauso weitergehen wie das alte geendet hat. Furchtbar. Rüdiger hustet. Er lebt. Er ist Ingenieur. Am sich umorientieren. Schnupperkurs in der KFZ-Branche. Himmel, ist das alles elend. Die Frau torkelt ins Bad, das Grauen. Zehn Kilo mehr, und alle im Gesicht. Aus dem Hals könnte man zehn Hälse für Afrika machen. Überall diese Pizzaschachteln, Truthahnüberreste in der Küche. Schokolade klebt am Sofa. Das hatten sie jetzt vierzehn Tage nicht verlassen. Aber wo sollen Leute wie sie denn Weihnachten auch hingehen, in Berlin? Alle sind zu Hause in Schwäbisch-Gmünd, die Weltstadt geschlossen. St. Barth liegt nicht drin. Bleich sinkt sie aufs Bett. Sie muss einen Vorsatz fassen. Viele Vorsätze, für das neue Jahr, das von draußen träge in die Wohnung schaut und mit dem Paar eigentlich nichts weiter zu tun haben will. Ich muss Sport machen, sagt Rüdiger. Weniger essen, begeisterungsfähiger werden. Neugierig wie ein junger Luchs in die Rückversicherungsagentur federn und dem Chef mal so richtig sagen… Ja, was denn nur? Weniger trinken. Aber wer soll denn zehn Grad Minus und einen bleigrauen Himmel ohne einen gepflegten Rausch ertragen? Vorsätze. Die Hoffnung der Müden, der Zahnräder des Kapitalismus, der Basis des Staates, dass sich das Schicksal mit einem Mantra der Besserung zum Guten wenden würde. Vorsätze, der Pakt mit dem Universum. Ich werde abnehmen, mich disziplinieren, ich werde den Iron Man mitmachen, und dann musst du, Schicksal, mich belohnen. Mit einem Leben das sich nicht anfühlt wie Beutelsuppe schmeckt. Ein kleiner Deal, komm schon! Aber da kommt keiner. Da ist keiner zu Hause im Himmel, das war ein Märchen, der Gott, das Schicksal, das Karma – ein Märchen. Und es wird alles genauso weitergehen. Endlich eine Sprache lernen, schreibt sie auf die Liste. Und dann schläft sie ein, Frohes neues Jahr, murmelt das neue Jahr angeekelt durch das Fenster.
