Gay and Gaga? Geht’s noch?

Are Gay people still Gaga? Or are they as normal as the masses of mainstream? Did gay marriage and acceptance kill our creativity? Are Darkrooms and Gay Prides the last retreats where Gagaism breaks through? Heteronormativity taking over? Well, maybe the actual Homonormativity isn’t better.
Judith Butler didn’t accept the price for moral courage on this years Berlin Pride because the whole Pride was too commercial and superficial and not political enough, not queer (or gaga?) enough. Well, Homonormativity the big problem today? The Gay “Spießer” was talked about even in the 70s when Rosa von Praunheim claimed that the gays were more white-breaded than the mass just to thank not to be killed.
We should be facing the truth: The gay majority is as “spießig” as everyone else and most of them feel quite good about it.
The call for more political expression on a Gay Pride Demonstration is absolutely right, Transophobia or double discrimination being gay and migrant.
But talking about Afghanistan or stupid Israel bashing like in Madrid? Or even attacking some gay groups as being racist just because they bring up the problem of gay bashing amoung young migrants? Geht’s noch?

Well….  there is still al lot of Gaga in all of us!
