Transformation (C) Schwarzrosagold/Arsmatho

Schwarzrosagold goes New York! On April 7, 2011 Skeletor Saves, a collective charity show, will open for one day to raise money for the Ali Forney Center in New York City, a shelter for homeless gay, bi and transgendered youth. With work from top artists based on He-Man and the Masters of the Universe this artshow will be special and unseen. Schwarzrosagold will contribute one of our latest collages from the series “Fractal Identities”. He-Man was quite fragmented and even queer. His everyday shy and feminine side Prince(ss) Adam turned into that big butch guy, wearing a harness and some fur-speedos. How everyday gay is that?

The show is sponsored by Slick It Up and Aaron Cobbett and will be curated by Brian Moylan, Bradford Shellhammer, and David Mason. April 7 2011, 7-10PM Headquarters Studios, 385 Broadway, NYC
